Coming together at NADA 2022 in Las Vegas felt like a homecoming and a new beginning. It was incredibly satisfying to spend quality face time with our development partners and our internal team members — some of whom we’ve never met in person and others who we haven’t seen in several years. And how about Vegas’ new Convention Center West Hall?! We’ve all come a long way.

My special thanks go out to the innovators who were able to join us. Your questions and valuable feedback help Fortellis continue to grow and advance as a technology platform that supports an integrated experience for thousands of providers across automotive retail marketing, Sales, CRM and Service channels. We were excited to share the adoption our platform has seen and demonstrate our improved frictionless app subscription experience. We also introduced CDK Neuron, our Next-Generation intelligence engine that provides dealers, software vendors and OEMs with intelligent solutions that drive efficiency and profitability across automotive retail.

For our OEM and dealer partners, the Fortellis Marketplace has emerged as a one-stop shop for all retail needs, with a growing catalog of more than 100 app listings. Popular CDK applications highlighted during NADA 2022 included CDK CarSource, the largest dealer-to-dealer online wholesale marketplace; CDK Salty Embedded Insurance®; and CDK OnePay, a payment integration tool for digital payments.

We also generated a lot of buzz around the recent launch of new self-serve capabilities with tools to simplify app subscriptions and enablement through a seamless workflow process. Rag Ramanathan, Fortellis senior director of product management, demonstrated how dealers can use this new option to quickly search for and subscribe to top apps in the Fortellis Marketplace.

The Fortellis team was also on hand to demo the newest Async APIs that keep data flowing between your CDK applications and other apps, in real time. Soon to be available through our developer network, Async APIs facilitate seamless and efficient workflows that improve employee experiences and customer engagement. Dozens of software developers who have successfully published apps on the Fortellis Marketplace entered our “Come Get Your Closeup” contest. Participants were invited to highlight their offerings, share success stories and promote their apps through a lighthearted social media campaign. We'd like to give a special shout out to our contest winners MyKaarma and Marchex! MyKaarma is an early adopter of the Fortellis platform, and with three applications available in the Marketplace, they offer a comprehensive suite of Fixed Ops applications for dealers. Marchex was so popular in the Fortellis booth that their contest image and selfie reached thousands of views. Marchex Engage for Automotive offers dealership Sales teams an enhanced selling process through improved communication tactics and CRM workflow tracking.
