To our customers:

The health and safety of our customers and people have been weighing heavily on my mind these last few weeks. What is best for you remains at the heart of every decision that we make at CDK Global. Since my last communication to you, and in response to the continued widespread and global impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), my leadership team and I are putting even more rigor around our daily conversations. This allows us to take more immediate action as new information continues to surface.

In these uncertain times, we understand the circumstances are causing anxiety and concern for both you and your employees. We empathize with you and recognize the strain this situation is putting on your business. It is our goal to remain a steady partner who is there to help you navigate this rough terrain.

We take our role supporting you and your business very seriously, and understand how critical our technology is in helping you run your operations. I want to make sure you are aware that we are taking every precaution to deliver uninterrupted service to you. In line with the guidance of the reputable global health organizations, and to ensure the safety of our employees, we have moved the majority of our global workforce to remote working arrangements. With these changes, business continuity is a top priority. Please rest assured that:

  • Our app monitoring systems are designed to work at CDK offices and at home locations. We have verified the capacity of our network to support critical services required to maintain reliable operations, even if employees work remotely for an extended period of time.
  • Our customer support, network and app control center teams will remain vigilant regardless of their work location. We continue to actively monitor all systems to ensure that our backups, apps and networks provide secure and reliable service to you.
  • We are also in regular contact with our data center providers globally to ensure that staff is on hand to manage systems, should emergency resources be required.

As a global organization, we are united with the world in fighting against the spread of this virus. Our travel guidelines that restrict all travel to only business essential remain in place at least through March 30. We continue to encourage all of our customer-facing teams to connect with each of you to assess whether onsite support is needed at this time. As always, we are happy to accommodate whatever best fits your needs. You can rely on us to keep you apprised of any new decisions and changes that might impact you. Should you have any questions, please contact your CDK representative.

Please do everything you can to stay safe and healthy. It’s challenging times like these that bring out the best in humanity, unite people to help one another, and enable all of us to create infinite possibilities. Thank you for putting your trust in us and for being our loyal customer. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

My very best,

Brian Krzanich
